On July 4, the employees of the NGO "Real World, Real People" (RWRP) conducted a course in Gyumri, Armenia. The course, titled "Women living with HIV and IDUs against gender-based violence in RA," was organized with the support of the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS. Specialists from the Shirak Marz Child And Family Support Center State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO) also participated in the course. The training began with a presentation by Margarita Poghosyan, a social worker from RWRP NGO. She provided an overview of the general fundamentals of HIV and AIDS. Following that, Mariam Karapetyan, another social worker from RWRP NGO, discussed the specific aspects of social work with individuals living with HIV. Sargis Ohanyan, a lawyer from RWRP NGO, then presented comprehensive information on "Personal Data Protection" to the participants. This session aimed to raise awareness about safeguarding personal information. Afterwards, Sargis Avetisyan, the Outreach Staff Coordinator at RWRP NGO, discussed the specifics of the work carried out with individuals who use injecting drugs (IDUs).
