The series of events dedicated to the World AIDS Day started at the UN office in Armenia. Nanna Skau, the head of the UN Office in Armenia, Roza Babayan, the head of the Armenian Office of the United Nations HIV/AIDS Program, as well as Zhenya Mayilian, the president of the "Real World, Real People" SNGO, welcomed those present at the event.
Then, a memorandum was signed between the UN World Food Program and the Armenian Office of the United Nations HIV/AIDS Program, which plans to provide the people living with HIV forcibly displaced from Artsakh with the necessary material support to meet their primary needs. RWRP SNGO will act as a mediator within the project and will support in delivering the aid to the beneficiaries. Then the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the programs and activities implemented in cooperation between the SNGO "Real World, Real People" and the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS, as well as the successes recorded in the field of HIV and AIDS, through the pictures shown.
At the UN office in Armenia, "Real World, Real People" SNGO also initiated the "Living Library" or "Human Library" initiative, within the framework of which a woman living with HIV, who lived in an environment of violence, presented her story to the audience. find and break the chain of violence.
